Our staff at Red Barn Veterinary Services is filled with passionate animal lovers who are here to help you and your pet! They are highly trained and dedicated to making sure that your pets receive the care and compassion they deserve every time they walk in the door!
We offer the following services to keep your pets healthy:
Pocket Pets
Not all pets are furry or four legged! We are proud to provide care for exotic pets including birds, reptiles, and pocket pets. Caring for exotic pets requires experience and special training, so we have a team that is equipped to provide our exotic patients with high quality care.
Caring for exotic animals can be very different from other pets, so it’s important for pet owners to be educated on the needs of their pets. Nutrition and a proper habitat are major components of properly caring for most exotic pets.
Birds/Backyard Chickens
We are happy to provide care for your backyard chicken or other pet bird. We love taking care of avian patients and doing the best we can to help your pet out!
There are many health issues associated with various types of birds, so it’s important to consult with us about your bird’s health. It’s also important for them to receive regular checkups so that we can establish a baseline in their body chemistry and detect any potentially harmful changes.
If you have any questions about how we can care for your pet bird, please contact us today.

Bovine

As a herd owner herself, Dr. Charly knows and understands beef cow calf herds, feedlots, and other farms where we together are all helping to feed the world. We offer ultrasounding, herd health consulting, sick cattle management, surgical services, and other preventive health tools.
Small Ruminants
We are proud to provide services to sheep, goats, llamas and alpacas! You can be rest assured your herd is in good hands. We can help you manage your individual pet, your show animal’s needs, or on a herd health basis in nutrition, reproduction, preventive health, and disease management and surgery.
If you have any questions about how we can care for your small ruminants, please contact us today.
Preventative Care
We believe the best way to promote overall health is through preventative care. Regular checkups allow us to establish a baseline in your pets’ health and make us aware of any changes that may indicate future problems.
We highly recommend bringing your pet in for regular exams. Often health problems that go undetected can become more severe issues when left untreated, so checkups are important even when your pet appears healthy.
Dental Care
Dental care is vital to the overall health of any pet. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys and has the potential to seep into your pet’s bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.
Surgery
We are pleased to offer our clients the highest quality veterinary care. We want nothing but the best for our clients, especially during surgery. It is our goal to make sure that our surgical team is prepared to offer our clients the latest medical procedures. We look forward to learning about the newest medical advances in surgery and actively partake in continued surgical education.
Microchipping
At Red Barn Veterinary Services, we are happy to offer microchipping. Every year, thousands and thousands of pets go missing. Not knowing where your pet is or how to bring them back can be a helpless, hopeless feeling. It’s a tragedy that happens all too often.
But there is a simple, safe, and effective way to ensure your pet’s safety and retrieval should he or she ever become lost. Microchipping is a standard procedure that implants a tiny chip underneath your pet’s fur. It is a painless and relatively fast procedure and is completely safe.
Wellness Exams
At Red Barn Veterinary Services in , we believe that regular checkups and wellness exams are critical to your pets’ well-being. These wellness exams give us a chance to evaluate the overall health of your pet while also giving us a baseline for their unique bodies and tendencies.
Not only do these exams keep us up-to-date with your pets’ health, but they also allow us to detect potential problems before they become serious. This thorough checkup gives us vital information to help keep your pet healthy!
Behavior Management
We offer solutions for a variety of behavioral issues that pet owners are faced with. Behavioral problems can be challenging and frustrating for both pets and pet owners, so it is our goal to work with you towards a solution.
There are many behaviors that can be negative or destructive, and many pet owners feel helpless in bringing peace to their home. We want you to know that we are here to help, and that undesirable behaviors can be corrected.
Ultrasound
Ultrasounding is a quick and painless procedure. It uses sound waves to allow us to see inside your pets, without using the harmful radiation produced when we take x-rays.
We are pleased to be able to offer ultrasounds, along with all of our other diagnostic tools, to help your sick pets start to feel better soon. The quicker we can find the problem, the sooner your pets will be back to their normal selves.

Getting a new puppy or kitten is very exciting. You have a lot to look forward to. The great companionship that a good pet can bring is very rewarding. However, puppies and kittens come with a lot of responsibility and work. Here at Red Barn Veterinary Services, we are here to help you with your new addition.
